Exhibition of Vietnamese traditional lacquer products in Da Nang

The Exhibition “Vietnamese lacquer products” displays more than 100 unique lacquer products selected from more than 300 products of many painters and artisans throughout the country.


Presented lacquer products were made of traditional materials of painting such as: Then paint (special-use paint), dark brown paint (the colour has a combination of brown mixed with a bit of red and ocher lustre) as a binder, and silver, gold, eggshell, mussel shell, etc.

The products displayed in the exhibition are rich and diverse in form and expression; have high aesthetics, showing the meticulousness and sophistication of Vietnamese lacquer.

The Exhibition “Vietnamese lacquer products” in Da Nang is an activity in the project to promote the national brand “Vietnamese lacquer art”.

This is a project to promote exchanges, focusing on promoting the national brand through the introduction of Vietnamese lacquer products and works. At the same time, encouraging enterprises, craft villages, artists and artisans manufacture and create lacquer products and works that become goods for domestic and international consumption.

The Exhibition “Vietnamese lacquer products” opens from 28th November 2022 to 4th December 2022 at Danang Fine Arts Museum.
